Trending Custom ROMs for Android Phone

In the previous versions of Android like Kitkat, Lollipop and before, there is not much ROM development. We use to root the android and use Xpose modules, modifications in android files by flashing zips for customization of OS as we needed. Now things have changed, Custom ROMs provide enough customization for users without the need of rooting. All we have to do is unlock the Bootloader.

Changing of ROM is made more and more easy with time. It only takes few minutes to set up a new ROM. Over time many developers have created Custom ROMs for individual device models and even standardized their ROMs. Today almost ever android device out there has a custom ROM, making them better than what manufacturers did.

So lets see what custom ROMs are in trend and what do they offer.

Resurrectionremix:

This is one of the earliest ROM development which aimed for Customization. Starting from Android Lollipop to the present version of android, they consistently develop ROMs for many device models. They provid with maximum customization for users. And also they focused on stability. Resurrectionremix comes with vanilla android upon which users can change options in settings menu for customization of the UI of the ROM. As a user you can customize your Home screen, App drawer, Lockscreen, Status Bar and even navigational gestures. They support a large number of device models.

EvolutionX:

EvolutionX emerged around the time of android Oreo. This ROM is based on Pixelexperience ROMs with added customization options for Users. EvolutionX has limited models support for now and they are expanding for various devices. BUT ONE THING I GOT TO SAY - "THIS ROM GOT THE STYLE."

Lineage OS:

This Custom ROM has been on the ROM business almost from the beginning. Even for flashing
Non-Android OSs on a android device, these ROMs have to be flashed first so that they provide device kernel and drivers for the Non Android OSs. Many custom ROMs base their ROM on this ROM particularly. And there is a huge community for this along with very wide range of devices support. Almost all the devices which are present in beginning of the Android Era are supported too.

The point is there are many custom ROMs out there to suit your needs. All you have to do is search, flash and find out. Rather than just reading about them. I have personally used most of these ROMs and I can say that developers have done one hack of a job.
